First day of Winter and we get...

Today is the first day of winter, my favourite season. However, the introduction was more of a icy mess when 24 mm of ice fell beginning saturday noon and persisted well into sunday morning. The ice was so thick that it coated everything visible. Sidewalks, snow, trees, and cars. Not even the poor garden gnomes were spared. Below are some pics taken right after the last of the freezing rain fell.
